Learning and Recognizing a Model: A quick
start
- Load an image using the
Open menu command. You can open a wide
range of files including .bmp, .jpg, .pcx, .tif for static
image and video sequences saved as AVI files. You can also
use direct video input by selecting the Capture option in
the File menu (you can also open one of the 4 demos provided
in the Demo menu of the application).
- Learn a specific region
using the cursor and double click within the selection.
The model is added to the Model list. You can also learn
a Model by selecting the Learn option in
the Models menu. This opens the Learn Window, which displays
a sample view of the region you have selected. Click on
the Learn button to create the Model.
- Start the recognition process
on the loaded image or any other input image (or AVI sequence)
by clicking on the Recognize button located
just below the Input Image.
- A colored shape locates the hits that match
your model on the Input Image.
